Ravishing Red

Every time I spend time writing book number 2 of my series, I envision gorgeous women with fabulous red lips.  Thus, I'm obviously inspired by them.  Look at these lovelies.  Do you wear red lipstick?  If so, any tips for avoiding a mess?
